About Otago Dancers
‘The Otago Dancers’ is a professional performance group which is home to Dunedin’s leading choreographers and dancers. We offer opportunities for talented performers within the Otago Region who are focused, dedicated and motivated dancers that are skilled in many styles of dance and able to perform at a variety of events.
Individually each of ‘The Otago Dancers’ has had numerous years of dance experience. The Otago dancers are made up of dancers who have previously performed in the various performance teams throughout the country, including the Auckland Sky City and the NZ Breaker Cheerleaders.
We have all been trained in different dance genres and continue to teach within these fields; such as Ballet, Modern, Jazz, Contemporary, Hip Hop, Island and Gym Fitness. Our various dance background allows us to cater for all events.
We perform to entertain the crowd, encourage spectator involvement and create the extra flare in sporting events. We also perform for private/public functions, charitable and corporate events.
The Otago Dancers are available to perform at corporate, public and private events and the style of performance will be catered to fit any event.
